Williams: F-duct for Monza a no-brainer By Jonathan Noble Monday, September 6th 2010, 09:50 GMT Williams technical director Sam Michael is baffled why rivals teams are unsure about their plans to run the F-duct at Monza this weekend - because he thinks it a 'no-brainer' to keep it on the car. A number of leading outfits have spent the last few weeks evaluating whether or not to keep the F-duct on for the Italian Grand Prix.

Coloni cars impounded at Spa

By Mark Glendenning Friday, August 28th 2009, 12:28 GMT

Scuderia Coloni is facing the prospect of sitting out this weekend’s GP2 Series round at Spa after its cars were impounded by lawyers acting on behalf of Andy Soucek.

Lawyers and police appeared in the paddock at 10am this morning while the team was preparing for the first practice session, and the cars and transporter were seized and moved to an unknown location.

Scuderia Coloni sources told AUTOSPORT that they had no way of knowing whether a solution could be found in time for the cars of Andreas Zuber and Luis Razia to take to the track for qualifying later today.

The dispute stems from last year when Soucek was contracted to the team in its former guise of Fisichella Motor Sport, but was dropped prior to the opening round despite claiming that he had made his first payment.

He failed in an attempt to have the cars impounded in Barcelona last year.
